10 movies to see this Christmas

Christmas is just around the corner. We’ve decorated the tree, we’re a bit more relaxed, yet something is missing? A good movie, I say. Because nothing can give you a better atmosphere than a movie to bring the Christmas spirit into your home.

I thought I’d pick the 10 best films that you really must see (or re-watch) this Christmas.

When I was a child I loved the winter holidays because I could laze around in front of the TV. I remember with nostalgia those slow mornings spent in front of the TV with programmes that brought Christmas closer. Among them were a lot of Christmas-themed movies. Then there were the cartoons with #WolfZayPagadi or #TomandJerry. But time has passed, and today some films from that time are in the history of cinema, but also in the memories of our hearts.

Three romantic films to watch in January

Some of them I have seen again, others have remained hidden somewhere in a corner. Even now, I have to admit, Christmas movies awaken the “child” in me. There are films that  can overwhelm the Christmas spirit. And, come on, let’s be honest, how can you not rewatch   “#The Holiday” or “#Single Home” at least once?

If you’re expecting something special for Christmas? You can make your own gift. Make yourself some favourite snacks, boil some wine, sit in front of the TV and watch a good movie.

Here’s a list of the 10 best movies to see on Christmas Eve;

1. @Singur home

It’s been 20 years since the American super-comedy “Home Alone” was released, telling the story of 8-year-old Kevin, who defends his home from two thieving fools.

2. @The Holiday

89789

It’s one of my favorite comedies. Starring Jude Law in all his glory. Ironic but super romantic, this comedy is a must see with your girlfriends or new boyfriend.

3. @The Family Man

Jack Campell is a businessman for whom Christmas has no value. He has money and everything he wants, but he lacks a family. One day he falls asleep and ends up in another dimension on Christmas Eve, so he sees his life as it could have been, if only he had chosen his soul and not money at some point.

4. @Bad Santa

Babbo_bastardo_1

It’s the story of a drunken Santa Claus who specializes in shoplifting from department stores, especially around Christmas. Then he happens to meet Thurman, a problem child, who will give him shelter in his own home until Christmas Eve.

5. @It’s a wonderful life

Frank Capra’s famous film has always been considered one of the first great Christmas classics. If you haven’t seen it yet, then this Christmas would be a good time to do so. The film tells the story of a man saved by an angel, who gives him wings as a reward for his good deeds. A film that will fill you with hope, whatever your state of mind.

Nine love stories make Love Actually a perfect film to watch this Christmas, especially for romantics.

7. @ELFmgid-uma-image-mtv

Will Ferrel has the gift of making you laugh just at a glance, but especially seeing him dressed as an elf. Because, yes, in this Christmas fable he plays an elf who is searching for his true origins.

8. @Miracle on 34th street

There are a lot of Santa Claus movies, but none so impressive as the story of a little girl who will do anything to convince her mother that Santa exists.

9. @Nightmare Before Christmas

Tim Burton and Walt-Disney send you to a fantasy world where two holidays meet: Halloween and Christmas. Nightmare Before Christmas tells the story of Jack Skellington, the king of Halloween, who is tired of terrorising children and wants to take Santa’s place. A fantastic film for young and old alike.

10. @Frozen

Frozen – The Frozen Kingdom is newly released, but it has already won the hearts of children. It wouldn’t hurt to see it yourself, you’re sure to love it. My little girl adores it and we’ve seen it together at least six times. I’ve never been bored.
