A walk in Monza

What do you think of the ripped jeans? For a few seasons, they have got more and more space on the fashion market. This year 2017 indeed they are a trend and a must-have for any fashionista. Either we talk about lower waist jeans or medium ones, skinny, slim, straight or boyfriend, discolored or prewashed (stonewashed or acid-washed) light blue or medium blue, the ripped jeans are available in all sort of varieties and styles.

ARE YOU WONDERING HOW THE RIPPED JEANS APPEARED?

You should probably know that the first time they appeared was during the 70’s, the ‚”punk” era. The Americans call them ripped jeans or distressed jeans, but we call them ripped jeans, fringed or worn out. They can be very easily found in almost any shop and on every taste, very ripped or very lightly ripped.

If you are not a bold person and you don’t have the courage to wear something dashing, then you don’t necessarily need to get aut of your confort zone. You can find jeans very lightly ripped, a skinny type that can very easily highlight your thin legs, with a high waist to highlight your forms or a regular waist.

HOW DO YOU MECI UP YOUR RIPPED JEAMS?

This type of jeans are very appreciated as they can very easily meci up with almost everything: shits, blouses, coats, sports footwear or elegant high heels. You can meci up thease jeans with shirts partially got into them and if the weather is a bit chilly, you can very well use a blazer or a coat of masculine inspiration. For a more casual look, you can wear the ripped jeans with a top or a simple T-shirt, and as long as the footwear, you can choose anything from stiletto, sabots, elegant sandals or gladiator sandals, but also any sport shoes.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE YOUR OWN RIPPED JEANS?

Are you curious how you can make your own ripped jeans at home? Let’s say you don’t want to spend your money on a ripped pair of jeans. No problem! You can choose to rip your own pair of jeans and thus you can be wrapped in fashion.

What do you need? A pair of jeans, a sharp stone or a pincette. At first, you need to weaken the fabric where you want to make the rips and have in mind what type of rips you want to make, usually the rips are made right above the knee or at the knee level and a little lower from the pockets. After you got the way of the rip, you only need to pursue it. Use a sharp stone if you want the jeans to have a worn out aspect, to look bare-worn. Use the pincette if you want to get a pair of jeans with spaced wires. Use the scissors or a balde if you want to make some discrete cuts.
