Milan by car or train.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By car, you can take the A9 to Lecco and then the SS36 to Morbegno. From Morbegno, continue towards Sondrio and then take the SS38 which leads to Val Masino. From here, follow the signs for Val di Mello.<\/li>\n<li>By train, you can take the train from Milano Centrale to Tirano and then connect to Sondrio. From Sondrio, take the STT buses to Val Masino.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to get to Val di Mello<\/h2>\n<p>Once in Val Masino, you can reach Val di Mello on foot or by bus. The path leading to the valley is well signposted and about 4 km long. The trail is immersed in a pristine forest and offers splendid views of the surrounding mountains.<\/p>\n<p>If you take the bus from Sondrio you can reach the Piani di Mello dam.
