I really wanted to get to the Dunes of Porto Pino. And finally, this year I did. We were so happy, so excited, that every step we took seemed to bring us closer and closer to paradise.<\/p>\n

\"\"Our day started early with a visit to Sant’Antioco, a small and fascinating town in southern Sardinia. But our real goal was Porto Pino, and we couldn’t wait to wander into a small wild desert.<\/p>\n

The road to Dune took us through marshes and breathtaking natural landscapes. We were surrounded by the wild beauty of nature, and our hearts pounded in anticipation of discovering the hidden treasure of Porto Pino.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We felt like we were in a desert, with the warm sun on our skin and the soft sand slipping between our feet. How to get to the Dunes of Porto Pino<\/h2>\n

Now let’s see how to get to the Dunes of Porto Pino, also known as Is Arenas Biancas. There are two ways to get to this beautiful beach in southern Sardinia: you can park in the Porto Pino beach parking area and you’ll immediately reach the coastline, but the dunes are about 4 km away by foot.<\/p>\n

It seems a considerable distance, but it’s a pleasant walk.<\/p>\n

The part of the coastline closest to the dunes is only open in the summer months, and both parking areas are pay-and-display in the summer season.<\/p>\n
