Porto Azzuro<\/strong> is a town of 3211 inhabitants in the province of Livorno. Situated on the southeastern coast of Elba island,\u00a0<\/span>it is bathed by the Piombino Channel<\/span><\/div>\n

Porto Azzuro<\/strong> has a view on Mola Bay, the largest bay on the eastern coast of Elba with a well protected harbour,<\/span><\/div>\n
where many ferries and tourism boats dock.<\/span><\/div>\n

The name of Porto Azzuro comes from the colour<\/strong> of the sea that is of a true blue. Initially the town was called Porto Longone.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
